Peace of Christ!

Having read in The Keene Sentinel (City of Keene, New Hampshire) that a local Religious - Sister Joan Mary McDermott, P.B.V.M. and the pastor of St. Margaret Mary Parish in Keene - Rev. Gerard Bertin, would be holding meetings at St. Margaret Mary in an attempt to promote VOTF, I began a letter writing campaign in the pages of that same newspaper.

Happily, after a flurry of letters from Catholics loyal to Magisterial teaching, and after what was described in The Keene Sentinel as a very emotional first meeting, this local chapter decided not to conduct another meeting.

VOTF must be opposed by faithful Catholics.  "Catholic" modernists, marching under the banner of "The New Ecclesiology," are using the clergy abuse scandals as an excuse to create a Church in their own image and likeness.  Led by atheistic philosophers and theological skeptics, these "New Church" Catholics have abandoned the supernatural view of reality and now look at God and Revelation in an immanentist rather than a transcendentist manner.  This is why they seek "structural change within the Church," even though the Church, founded by Christ, constitutes a perfect society (see Mystici Corporis, No. 63).

Pope Pius XII, of happy memory, has already answered those deluded souls who would attempt to use scandals within the Church as an excuse for promoting their own conception of Church: "And if at times there appears in the Church something that indicates the weakness of our human nature, it should not be attributed to her juridical constitution, but rather to that regrettable inclination to evil found in each individual, which its Divine Founder permits even at times in the most exalted members of His Mystical Body, for the purpose of testing the virtue of the Shepherds no less than of the flocks, and that all may increase the merit of their Christian faith." (Mystici Corporis, No. 66).

Let us not fail this test!

Pax Christi sit semper vobiscum

Subject:      letter campaign to thwart votf in nh

Paul: God bless and protect you in your efforts to expose votf's hidden agenda...your merits in heaven will surely be multiplied.

Unfortunately, our pastor, at St. Louis de Montfort Parish, Sound Beach, NY  advertises their mtgs.from the pulpit, in our church bulletin, and also in a pastoral letter placed in our Bulletin.

Our bishop doesn't allow mtgs. on church property; but pastor still advertises their mtgs....pray for us.………..Ann , N.Y.
